A: The “Protein Function” is a smart feature that automatically switches from spacer gel mode to separated gel mode, reducing tedious manual resets. For example, you can set it in two steps: Step 1 (Spacer Gel) at 80V for 30 minutes, and Step 2 (Separated Gel) at 120V for 30 minutes. The unit executes both stages continuously.

A: Traditional wet transfer (tank blotting) typically takes 1 hour to overnight and requires large buffer volumes, making it highly efficient for a broad protein size range (10 to over 300 kDa). In contrast, fast semi-dry transfer systems (such as WIX-easyBLOT) complete the transfer in just 5 to 10 minutes with minimal buffer, which is highly optimal for mid-range proteins (30 to 150 kDa).
